French Roast Uptown - New York

Celebrated my birthday lunch there with my girlfriends and it was very nice. I loved their shaksuka. will definitely come back again to try other things.

The Belgian waffles were excellent. Friendly service from our waitress. I was a little surprised, especially since we had a reservation, that the hostess wouldn’t sit us at an empty window table, saying that table was specifically reserved. A little on the noisy side. Overall a good experience and good food.

Family tradition, go all the time and feel like home. Try the cappuccino, ask the guy to draw a puppy on the foam.

On a very busy Friday afternoon, with not enough staff, our server did a superb job of managing so many tables was cheerful, and had a great attitude! I don’t know her name, but she is to be commended for staying cool “under fire”

Excellent coffee. We had two, delicious veggie meals. Nice atmosphere inside and nice outside seating when the weather is good. Service was a little slow after seating and we had three different people serving us. But they were all good.
