El Original - New York

The food was extremely bland, and the shrimp skewers came with nothing but the skewers themselves for $25. The staff is friendly, but I would only recommend this place for a drink.

This is the worst Mexican food I've ever had in New York. It was decent when they first opened, but I have to believe the original promoters or manager are no longer involved. Even the margaritas taste awful. I will never dine there again, and I can't understand why anyone would. If they don't make significant improvements soon, I can't see how they will stay in business.

On a positive note, the frozen margarita was excellent, and the cheese quesadilla was quite good as well. However, aside from those dishes, I didn't find anything else on the menu that I really enjoyed. Additionally, the restaurant is quite large but struggles to accommodate larger groups. On the bright side, the service was very good.

I was quite disappointed at my experience. I am a texan and hoped for an unforgettable experience. this place lacked an texan ambiente and the eating was moderate. it's too bad.

I was disappointed to see how empty the place was on a Tuesday night. I have been there a couple of times but over the years, it seems like the attendance has been diminishing and the menu has become more limited. Totally enjoyed the enchiladas Mexican with Salsa Verde...delicious and the guacamole is great! My friend ordered a house margarita and we both commented on the child size serving, he ordered another one but the waiter must have missed hearing it. Overall enjoyable but wish there was a little bit more people in the place.
