Donna Margherita - New York

The pizza is excellent by Italian standards! I was born and raised in Southern Italy and have lived in the US for 15 years. I have lived in many major US cities (Chicago, LA, New York), and I have tried a lot of Italian restaurants. I can easily say this is the best pizza I have tried in the US, and it is an excellent pizza by Italian standards as well. The staff is very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Donna Margherita!

Such an amazing spot! Owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was filling and tasty. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great Italian food without the huge price tag.

Amazing pasta and pizza! Service was excellent. We’ve passed by this place a lot and finally gave it a try, did not disappoint. The restaurant is also larger than you would think with two floors inside but the second floor gets quite hot when they’re using their in house brick oven.

If I could rate this more than 5 stars I absolutely would the atmosphere is warm and makes you feel right and home. The service is top notch and food is extremely authentic and fresh. Each dish is unique and flavorful also do not miss out on the delectable desert! This is a gem of the upper east side.
