Cipriani Dolci - New York

I came here for coffee. The service was excellent, and the latte was delicious and served with cookies. The restaurant gives you an amazing view of the Chamber of Commerce.

Food is excellent, surprisingly quiet place to have a meal overlooking the main concourse at GCT. They lose a start for just pouring us water from a bottle instead of asking if tap water is ok (first of all everyone knows NYC has the best water, second of all I have never eaten at a restaurant, ANYWHERE, no matter how fancy, that didn't ASK FIRST before serving you bottled water and then charging $10 for it). THey also serve bottled Coke so when your glass runs dry they just bring another think THAT was $6 a pop? Not cool. Otherwise the food was very good and they nicely stored our luggage for us while we were seated.

Large service and eating, portions were on the smaller side for the price, not great value.

Cipriani Dolci never disappoints. It’s a little gem in Grand Central. Elegant ambience, and wonderful food and drink. My go-to meeting spot with friends.
