Bidrage med feedbackAs spicy Xiang Chinese, I think this place is really among the average Xiang Dishes and it is also very expensive. I didn't recommend coming here.
Excellent authentic Chinese food if you are looking for spicy Hunan food and not typical American Chinese food, this is a place to go. Tips are not required, but prices are slightly higher than other Chinese restaurants in the middle of the city.
I love the restaurant, but they denied that they use open table. I reserved a week ago and ended with waiting in line for an hour
It was closed. I even have an email reminder, but don't know why they don't let me know. It was a total waste of time.
If you want authentic atmosphere and good food at extremely reasonable prices, this is the place to go to. The restaurant is very small, but there is an abundance of round tables and the décor is very modern and very clean. Our servers hardly spoke English, but we all got what we wanted. There were very interesting dishes, but all of my friends and I ordered the luncheon specials. There was a large assortment of vegetarian, chicken, fish and pork dishes. The Buddha's Delight looked great, which one of my friends ordered. Others ordered beef and string beans and I ordered a shrimp and cashew dish. We all ordered soups excellent. No desserts were on the menu so we didn't order any (obviously). What amazed us was there was a no tipping policy but we all tipped anyway we're New Yorkers this is what we do. If you want a satisfying, quick lunch before or after the theater, this is definitely the place to go. The prices were ridiculously low for very good, fresh, nicely presented dishes. We went somewhere else for dessert which was fine.
