Bidrage med feedbackOn the bright side, the music was fantastic, and I was thrilled to see Phony Ppl perform live; it really felt like the perfect venue for their show! They were pretty laid-back after the performance, and I had the opportunity to take a photo with Elbee Thrie and get all their autographs on my program! They were all wonderful, but the service left something to be desired. There were two girls at our table who didn’t have a bill large enough to meet the $20 minimum but were informed of it after they had already ordered. I understand the necessity of this policy since I’ve performed at places like Don’t Tell Mama, but I wish there was more consistency. I wasn’t eager to spend an additional $40 on top of the nearly $100 I already spent on tickets. Regardless, the atmosphere was great, and I had a wonderful time despite the expenses.
The music and atmosphere are excellent, but the bar chairs are very uncomfortable and unsteady.
The show with Robert Glasper and Black Thought was absolutely amazing! The service and drinks were fantastic as well!
Despite the close quarters I give the Blue Note 5 stars because it nails the two most important things, the performers and the sound system. After all, those are the reasons you go. If you want a good seat get there early. We went to an 8 pm show. The doors opened at 6 and there was a line. Besides the tickets, there is a 20 per person minimum. There is a full menu for dinner. The cocktails are very good. The ribs were delicious. If you don’t want to have dinner or wait two hours, go to the 10:30 show. Doors open at 10. We saw Harold Lopez-Nussa on a sold out Monday night- check him out, he and his group is amazing!!
Went to see Robert Glasper and Norah Jones. The Blue Note doesn't disappoint!
