Bánh Mì Saigon Bakery - New York

The only place in the whole city I get banh miI trek down 5 miles just for this stuff.

I was in the area, so I decided to drop by for a quick dinner.

Their banh mi is the epitome of mediocrityCan't get a banh mi more average than thisJust kidding, it was actually pretty tasty.

Clean and bright store, takes credit cards. Got bbq pork with extra pork. The pork was sweet and we probably didn’t need extra pork. Bread was crunchy, overall great and would come back again for more banh mi!

Had the Banh Mi Gon Nuong (spelling? with chicken, number two on the menu. Good but I'd definitely try something else instead next time as I wasn't a fan of the sweet sauce and chicken. I prefer a mayo and chicken or something like that. They have tons of good options though and I'd likely find something I love. Update: I had the pork banh mi which is number 1 on the menu. It is slight sweet and comes with mayo. It tastes good overall. Not like, the most amazing food I've ever eaten, but a solid choice if you need something affordable that you can eat on the go.
