Amelie - New York

I don't usually think about French food, I like spices until I find Amelie. I've been coming back a week ago. The Escargot and the goat cheese appetizers were great. Burger was actually cooked to medium as we ordered, and the coq au vin was delicious. The restaurant is small and intimate. The staff was very friendly and service never missed a beat. Probably gonna be back this weekend.

I would recommend Amelie for a solid, unpredictable meal. I often order her fish dishes because they were always perfectly cooked. You also have one of the better burgers in the area.

Another great night in Amelie. A quick, simple Impromptu Happy Hour with my daughter. Had an incredible time as usual. Great food, delicious wine and an always accommodating staff. Love Amelie for so many reasons!

An absolute joy. Loved the wine selection that you can say is hand-picked. Delicious food, even with my milk allergy! You had understanding. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The mussels and fries were amazing! They have heated seats, which are cozily distributed. Will be back.

Amelie truly is a neighborhood gem. This small but charming place advertises itself as a wine bar, but the food is always tasty, fresh, and nicely served. The staff are friendly and helpful, and your water glass is NEVER empty! Good Happy Hour bargains and lovely bistro food--small plates and main courses. Treat yourself to a little bit of France on the UWS.
