Taco Del Mar - New Westminster

Of course the food is good quality but what really impressed me is how CLEAN The new Westminster location is. From the moment I arrived there, Apoorv was busily cleaning the floor and wiping down counters. Then I went into the bathroom and wow! It...was very clean. And in my opinion, if the bathroom is that clean, I know the kitchen is clean and therefore I feel I can trust their handling of the food I am about to eat. I’ve been to other fast food places in the near vicinity and their bathrooms are disgusting! For shame! Both Apoorv and Tazz were very polite and friendly and they seemed to take pride in their work which is something you don’t often see. I will definitely be back there again!

I was very pleased with the selection and the quality of the food items. Restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and courteous. This restaurant more than satisfied the need for some quick Mexican food on the go.

I brought in a corporate lunch for some clients this week in Surrey (near Guildford) and I had originally tried to go through another company. I was very glad that the other company never called me back. I spoke with the manager Bhupinder on Tuesday...afternoon with regards to the catering job for Wednesday. Fully expecting to pick everything up from the store myself, I was very pleased when he offered to deliver everything and set it up in my client's lunch room. I opted for a build your own taco/burrito/burrito bowl buffet with soft drinks and cookies and everyone said it was the best corporate lunch they had ever had. Plus at per person all in, it didn't break the bank. He even let me swing by the store after my meeting and pay via interac which was very accommodating of him. My only issue was when I got there to pay the staff ignored me for a couple of minutes until I mentioned that I was there to pay a bill. They were probably just confused that I didn't order any food and was just standing at the till. All the food was well presented, warm, utensils clean, etc. He also provided a separate container of GF corn tortillas just for me which was a nice touch. I will definitely be using this location for corporate events again. Thanks Bhupinder!!!!

Walked in.place was a mess.garbage overflowing.food that they were swerving was dry.got my mondo burrito.was tiny as the monitor.food went cold before I sat down.bit into the burrito was tasteless and soggy.bathrooms are dirty.they need to dust and do some cleaning.rip out the wall near...the door that they go in has black mood.if. Could I would give them half a circle.

The title seems a bit harsh but that's what I'm left with as a memory of my recent lunch visit. My burrito was completely void of flavour and went soggy in seconds. Everything just oozed together into a mushy paste. Disappointing. Will not return.
