Teca's Tacos - New Rochelle

The food is really good here! We grabbed dinner at Tecalitlan last Monday while in New Rochelle. Three of us sat at one of the tables. It looks like mainly a takeout spot with many locals stopping in, but there were a couple of dine-in patrons while we were there also. Our waitress was so friendly and hospitable. Good vibes. She greeted us when we entered and took care of us, especially with my husband's dietary needs (vegetarian). We ordered nachos and guacamole to share. I went with enchiladas rojas (chicken). Other orders were enchiladas verde (cheese) and a variety of tacos. We left happy with full bellies. You know a place is good when there are multiple hot sauce options on the table, and they bring out a bunch of squeeze-bottle salsas with your food. If you are in New Rochelle and are looking for delicious authentic Mexican food, try this this casual eatery. A great spot!

Food is really good but service is ass booty buns rude server she even spoke foully to the owner of the business while i was there with my family eating very good birria and very good ceviche

The food was okay not remarkable. I had a ceviche tostada and a chicken taco and they were passable. We also ordered camarones de Diablo which was good and a chicken burrito which was not good. The service was prompt and friendly. The ambience was more accommodating for takeout. It is not a place where you would want to linger.

Simply the best Mexican in New Rochelle. The fajitas are off the charts. The owners are really nice and it always feels like I'm getting home cooking.

I remember when the White taco truck first pulled up to city park many years ago. The recipe remains as great as the very first day they pulled up till today. Even during covid when I was doing my physical therapy outside I would walk with my family and friends to the taco truck and back just to get my therapy going. Needless to say I still enjoy the walk because it’s worth the BEST TACOS IN NEW ROCHELLE. Don’t hesitate and get yourself some birria tacos with everything on them and a orchata, If you’re looking for flavor pull up to Texas taco truck.
