Caposeys Whole Works - New Port Richey

Without a doubt, this is our favorite breakfast spot. My husband typically orders biscuits and gravy wherever we dine, but he’s recently begun trying other dishes at different restaurants because nothing compares to Caposey’s. I always go for their pancakes. You’d think pancakes would be pretty similar no matter where you go, right? Well, that’s not the case here! I’m not sure what their secret is, but these pancakes are simply amazing. We've been regulars for years and love everything about this place: the fantastic servers, the wonderful owner, the charming atmosphere, and the delicious food.

This little mom and pop restaurant was recommended by a friend. I won't take the credit Jeff Kerri. But you was right on the facts about the great food and service. Been looking for good Eggs Benedict...found the best I've had since moving from Cincinnati 14 months ago. Right on the money in taste. Biscuits and gravy also the best I've found. Price is great. "Come in as a Customer, Leave as a Friend" truly captures the spirit of Caposey’s Whole Works Restaurant! I can’t express enough how wonderful the owner, Nancy, and her staff are; they genuinely care for her, just like her loyal customers do. The menu is fantastic, and the food is absolutely top-notch! Everything is made from scratch—yes, you read that correctly. If you don’t believe me, come and see for yourself, or ask any of her countless dedicated diners who frequent the restaurant more often than their own homes. It’s the real deal! And here’s the best part: the most expensive dinner on her homemade menu is only $10.25! Most items are $10 or less, all made from scratch. The waitstaff are amazing—friendly and eager to help. Caposey’s doesn’t use microwaves or any processed foods; everything is homemade. Nancy worked tirelessly serving others for years prior to opening her restaurant and really knows what it takes to run a successful business. I was truly impressed! We can’t wait to return soon.

This hidden gem always showed up in our searches, but we never visited—until today. She ordered the breakfast, and I had the Hawaiian melt. Both were delicious! The homemade sausage patty is particularly tasty.
