Tomas Bistro - New Orleans

We were Looking forward to a date night dinner. The food and service did not disappoint, however the atmosphere could use some attention. For starters a restaurant of this quality doesn't need a TV, this is not a sports bar. The decor needs a bit of updating, however the event room appeared to be much up to date and elegant. Overall a.very good experience. We would go back for food and less for an elegant evening date.

Food was delicious. We had seafood and steak at our meal. Service was attentive. Ambiance was great for enjoying food and great conversation. Look forward to returning.

Someone must think this is a nightclub! The lights are so low that on cannot read the menu and the music is too loud for this restaurant setting, especially when full of patrons talking. Other than that it is a very nice place to go.

Wonderful food. Best pompano dish ever. Everything we ordered was great.

Looking for a quieter place, off the beaten track of tourists and tourist focused food. Tomas Bistro was a lucky find. The Scallop appetizer was excellent and my rack of lamb was perfectly cooked, green beans were thin and crisp and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The chocolate cake for desert was perfect as well. Great wine list and our server did an excellent job. I would certainly eat here again.
