The Jimani Lounge - New Orleans

Best hamburger in New Orleans. Never a disappointment with lots of flavor and the fries are good also. Been coming here for the last 10 years when I am in town.

Hurricanes were great and the nachos some of the best we'd ever had. Instead of making them on a pile of chips, they are individually loaded on tortillas making them more substantial and delish! Little corner bar easy to overlook but worth the stop.

Stopped by on a Monday night while in town for a conference. I like going to dive bars when I travel. This is that! I was disappointed that the menu is much more limited than what is published here and on Facebook. I had the Mama’s Chicken sandwich…it was perfectly serviceable for bar food. The fries were good and hot. The bartenders were very friendly, and apparently make various custom drinks based on people’s likes. Prices are fair. Clearly popular with the locals. Lots of TVs for sports.

It was a small hole in da wall. Only had one beer. Lemon drop drink wasn't good.

Shockingly rude bartender. My friend and I walked in to get a drink, hopefully charge a phone and get directions. We approached the bartender who demanded IDs and then ignored us once we presented them. After a while, we sat down at a table to wait. She approached us after another 5 minutes or so and asked aggressively if we had a problem? We were bewildered and just said that we wanted to ask for directions and get food. She said there was a one drink minimum and to get out of the bar right now. We had no idea why we were being kicked out. She told us we were being bratty. ? And that we were not going to win this battle. Nothing about this establishment was particularly attractive, we really just needed some food and assistance, and we were treated like absolute trash by this horrible (brunette, female, late 20s? Bartender. Would not recommend, am very upset by the customer experience here. Would actually like to hear if the owners of this business actually would care how this woman was behaving today. I saw her serve multiple drinks to people waking in without asking for any IDs, other than for us, who she kicked out anyway. It seemed more like she was just singling us out, and made an embarrassment of us in public for no reason.
