Nomiya - New Orleans

It was absolutely amazing! They don't serve seafood here, so if you have allergies, you can relax. Based on previous reviews, many people recommended the pork buns, and they were incredible! I tried the Kuru, and it was fantastic. There’s a sauce that they add which is extremely spicy. I opted to have it on the side and just added a few drops— and it was very spicy, but still manageable. You definitely have to try their Yuzu Lemonade; they make it in-house, and it’s a delightful blend of lemons and a hint of grapefruit. Trust me, it's one of the best and most refreshing drinks you'll find anywhere. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable; they were more than happy to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend this place—1000 out of 10!

We ordered the Tonkotsu bowl and the Kuro bowl. My friend found the Tonkotsu bowl to be a bit too sweet for her liking. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the red ginger in my bowl. The noodles were decent, but not exceptional—likely not handmade. However, the soup was quite tasty.

Their geki-Kara was absolutely on point, went full spice and totally worth it, the soft boiled egg was a great compliment to their very tender, almost falling apart pork tenderloin. Highly recommended for anyone local or touring the city!Food: 5/5

I love Nomiya. This was my 1st time visiting the new location on Magazine. It's more spacious and has outdoor seating. Ramen is always delightful! The Pork Tonkotsu ramen is my absolute favorite. I normally add my own spice to give it an extra kick ginget tea is excellent as well whole meal 10/10.Food: 5/5

I’m just going to be honest. When I first found Nomiya my boyfriend and I would go every Friday. However, once they moved to their new location we noticed a decline in the quality of the food. The broth isn’t as flavorful, the noodles come out half cooked.. just not as good as it once was. I think I’m just about done coming here. I’ve gone at least once a month to see if they would improve again but to no luck. The service is always amazing and the staff is always attentive and friendly, but the food has declined and the price has increased.
