Lilette - New Orleans

Everything about this restaurant met and exceeded my expectations. Loved it!

Beautiful setting. We sat on the patio which is gorgeous. Food was fabulous and expertly prepared.

Eating was very good. were portioned on the small side.

The service was unpleasant. our appetizers came almost immediately and then there was a very long break before our main thing came. neither there was anything to talk about. I wasn't sure that I thought it was about very salty toast. I would have been irritating a traditional style and with more calvados cream sauce. I ordered my hanger steak medium and specifically said hot pink center. it was very rare almost ****. the waiter never checked, asked me or my daughter how our meal was. he took two tellers away from the table, ate at 1/2 on each and never suspected that it was a problem. I didn't want to be present with my college-aged daughter, but if I had been there with my man, I would have sent it back immediately. my daughter had denounced the $32 and the piece fish was incredibly small without standing. God be dessert thanks to I ordered, but it is a sad day when an ice trio is the best thing they have eaten in the restaurant. I loved the facility and the ambiente, but eating was blah and the service was not at all on the point. $150 with 0 alcohol only water and icy. I wouldn't recommend lillette at all. I'm sorry.

We live in the neighborhood and we always enjoy coming to Lilette. The food is ALWAYS great as is the service.
