Bidrage med feedbackChristmas evening, we had travelled all day and welcomed a hearty meal.
We traveled to NOLA for a foodie tour. We enjoyed every meal and the service at every restaurant except this one. We were very disappointed. Perhaps it could be blamed on holiday staffing but there were only 3 tables filled in the entire restaurant.
This was not a restaurant it was a hotel lobby. Photos are misleading. There were no walls or partitions, so every time someone walked in, you felt the cold weather outside and as a result, food became cold very quickly. Everyone was eating with their coats on. Couldn’t find it, either it’s inside Hyatt. We spent 30 minutes walking around and no one was answering the phones. The food itself was decent, but very overpriced for what you got think typical hotel food. Service was wonderful, however. This was a Christmas Day reservation, so particularly regret booking. I cannot imagine another scenario where I’d ever go back maybe a quick bite on Mardi Gras? Perhaps if you’re staying at the hotel? Otherwise I’m shocked OpenTable has them listed as a restaurant it’s not.
Jarrod was a great server. Although the service was slow, the food was delicious and hot. The team work together real well there was no real check in so I was a little nervous walking up but it was a great time.
It was located inside a hotel, the “restaurant “ side was not open and we were told we could purchase baked goods from the counter and sit.
