Bidrage med feedbackBest crawfish etouffee in French quoters ! , everyone was friendly and helpful! We got there by a food tasting tour New Orleans culinary and can’t wait to go back there .Food: 5/5
Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. 4 ppl at the bar and 4 tables. Waited 5 minutes- then flagger a waiter who brought me water and a menu. 15 minutes later, no one had approached me- so I left!
The food was decent overall. We ordered an appetizer, but it didn't arrive until after we had already finished our main courses. I tried the Gumbo, which had an unusual taste. However, the fried alligator, when it finally came, was incredible. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.
Great food and service. My family is from Louisiana. I am not and have not tasted real Louisiana style Jambalaya since I was very young. I was pleasantly surprised. My husband has never had real jumbo and said the seafood gumbo was the best gumbo he ever had. I can’t remember our waitresses name but she was extremely friendly and helpful. She even gave us some info about the city of New Orleans. She had blue hair, I wish I knew her name. Over all, great place to eat!
The service was excellent. Our server was friendly and accommodating. However, the gumbo arrived lukewarm, giving the impression that it had been frozen and then reheated in the microwave for a few minutes. They charged an additional $6 for adding chicken to the red beans and rice, which amounted to just one chicken tender cut in half. I found that to be quite overpriced. Additionally, the portion sizes were on the small side.
