Good Times Sushi - New Orleans

Tuna tataki is superb! Wish the rolls were a little bigger though. Lovely service.

Always Good. We have been going there since it opened. No frills but very good. Anna and her staff are very friendly and accomodating. It is one of our favorite places.

My FAVORITE sushi place, hands-down, of any within the City.  AND it's right around the corner.  Quick, good value and friendly staff.  LOVE.

Happy I finally tried it. Passing by Good Time Sushi en route to UNO over the past few years, I always wondered (a) how it would do in this off-the-beaten-path location and (b) whether it was any good. Given that it's now been around for over 5 years, I figured it must have something going for it and finally got around to trying it today. I'm happy I did.<br/ <br/ Amid a steady flow of customers (both in-house and take-out) service was fine. The Salmon Avocado Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll were both good, nothing more. The BBQ Eel Roll with some sort of sauce over it was very good. The surprise was the Sweet Potato Roll, served warm and unlike anything I've ever had before, yummily excellent.<br/ <br/ I preceded these with the squid salad which had a generous amount of squid in it and just the right kick. Also excellent.<br/ <br/ For such a small, simple establishment, I thought prices were a tad, say 10-15% high, but I suppose real estate even on Elysian Fields (not to mention everything else that goes into running a restaurant) has gotten more expensive these days.<br/ <br/ A couple with two young kids sat at the table next to me. They said they'd been coming there for years and highly recommended the Volcano Roll which looked great. They added when the first came the thought it would be very, very good or very, very bad. Happily for all, it tuned out to be the former.

Great NOLA sushi at hole-in-the-wall place!. The place is not very appealing from the outside but on the inside, it is worth the eye sore! It was my first time trying the restaurant. Very small on the inside. Every table was filled, 15 min wait. Sushi was outstanding! I had the sushi lunch box special. My two rolls were the crunchy roll and the snowcrab roll. Both were excellent! Came with miso soup and a salad for under $10! Tons of regular customers came in the restaurant for take-out orders. Waited for our food for 30minutes because of hectic lunch crowd in the restaurant and with all to-go orders. Worth all the waiting!
