Felipe's Mexican Taqueria - New Orleans

The food was tasty, but I paid $15 for the bowl and was still hungry. I even paid extra for more shrimp because they only give about 5-6 pieces. If I'm spending nearly $15 on a meal, I expect to be full. They need to provide more food. I could go somewhere else and get a $15 plate and be completely satisfied.

Genuine and delicious al pastor tacos make this one of the best I've ever had! Combined with great happy hour specials, authentic recipes, and the lively personality of bartender Becky, I find myself dining here multiple times a week. Definitely my favorite Flipp's location.

Updated 9/16/22 had 3 delicious tacos with ground beef, fried beans and guacamole and it was delicious. Friend had this beautiful bowl of soup. There were live music (one but noisy inside) bar was full, outside had many diners. We enjoyed everything. Previous had regular burrito with grilled chicken, rice and fried beans. The rice was a bit dry like the chicken. I asked her to cut up the chicken, but they refused. The guacamole was fresh and delicious. Brownie was good. I think that sometimes everything is freshly cooked, sometimes not.. I was entrusted with the management and they treated my problems with joy. Big thumbs to Felipe's! I'll be back soon!

Your Happy Hour is SO WORTH IT! Her margaritas are the best I've ever had in New Orleans. Everyone with a double shot and only $5 for Happy Hour. The 2 Buck Tacos are also delicious they have a salsa station that has really good carrots and limes. Definitely worth it!

Came here with a bunch of friends, my first time here. One of the best Mexican places to eat at and enjoy a live band and have great laughs and conversations ? I recommend the fresh lemonade ?
