Ernst Cafe - New Orleans

Listen. we first stopped at the gordon biersch brewery restaurant, which was waiting 45 minutes, which is not a big thing since it is fat dosday. we went down the block to waste a liltime and ran into this place. We asked the server if it would wait. she told us we should find an open seat and someone would serve us perfectly. we saw a long table with another couple and we came to them. service was fast and freendly. Eating was great. this place has earned my coveted 5 stars! oh, and look at the beer prices in my picture! love it

This place was down the street from our hotel. Beer prices are fantastic and the food was delicious. It has a dive bar atmosphere but the food is another level. I had the chicken and sausage jambalaya with blackened chicken on top and it was excellent. We sat outside and only took a couple of minutes for the wait staff to come by. Definitely recommend this place.

Excellent Bar Food! The Roast Beef Po Boy was hot and delicious. The appetizers we had were Mozzarella Sticks and Fried Jalopenos/Pickles. All tasted good. Great Service. Outdoor seating.

Great cheap eat!! Quality food, great drink prices and hearty servings. Fast, fuss free service. The fried pickle basket is HUGE. and you can beat the selection and cost of beer.

I love this place. This is a must for me every time I'm in Nola. The red beans and rice are delicious.
