Empire State Delicatessen - New Orleans

I really enjoyed the sandwich I ordered, the Whistleblower, which came with chipotle smoked gouda. The sandwich was well-assembled, and the presentation was impressive; it definitely makes a difference!

The Italian Stallion was a tragedy. It was as though someone started making a nice toasty deli sandwich, and then left in the middle. While the meats were quality as far as I could tell, the complete lack of any sauce, or veg, or dressing, or absolutely any other thing really made it rather depressing. I didn't even want to finish it, and I normally destroy an Italian hoagie type sammich. Also their coleslaw and their Potato salad were only a half pint each, which is about half of what I expected for their price. They also tasted very much like repackaged Sam's Club. So yeah, they're okay, just know what you're getting.

The food was delicious! Arrived hot and fresh! I got the sweet pota fries and the class Reuben...so good!
