The Shrimp and Cheese empanada was delicious and the Banana Foster was really good

Had the Gumbo empanada this trip because they were out of the popular Shrimp and Cheese. First time at this location. Great service and outside seating available.

These empanadas are amazing! I can’t get enough of them, they are great for a quick inexpensive snack or have a couple as a meal. The only problem I have is choosing which ones to get, they are all great: .

Is it possible to love empanadas anymore than we do? It's an amazing meat pie w/ amazing deep flavors. Empanola makes many different flavors everyone of them is delicious. We loved them while they were in Auction House, we love them at Freret, and we'll love them on Magazine. This time we got their Shrimp Cheese, Spinach Artichoke, Beef Argentina, Gumbo, Crawfish Etoufee, Banana Fosters. Each came w/ some delicious sauces: Salsa Verde, Salsa Roja, and a sweet chocolate dip for the Banana FostersPS: it's so cute that they stamp their empanadas w/ the fillings : @PhidingtheFam

This place had the best empanadas I have ever had! They had so many options to choose from that they have one for everyone!! Staff was super friendly! We loved this place so much that we talked about it the entire rest of the trip and kept saying we need to go back for more empanadas! Such an authentic place in New Orleans!
