Dat Dog - New Orleans

Great dogs with many exotic options. You can even get an alligator dog, but I wasn't so brave. fun atmosphere with something funky artwork. they have three places in new orleans, which was close to our hotel.

We saw this whilst on the bus tour and decided to give it a go. Well worth the visit, it’s just a hot dog joint I bet your thinking…it is but a much better experience with pretty much everything you can think off choice for your hot dog. Also has great options for any vegans too. Would definitely recommend

Ugly deco, ugly drinks in plastic cups, staff in bad mood and really careless. The tots with crawfish étouffée had max 2 spoons of sauce. The alligator sausage tasted like a very spicy pig sausage.

Five out of five! Had a local beer while we waited. Sooo…good! THE ROUGAROU an alligator sausage and BACON WEREWOLF a smoked sausage. Well they also make their own sauerkraut and I am sorry I didn’t try it. Both dogs were super!!!

The restaurant was a little dirty, Wait staff was OK! The food was just OK! The inside the outside of the restaurant is probably the coolest feature!
