Chais Delachaise - New Orleans

I have to say, the highlight of my meal was definitely the beignet dessert! They were the most light, airy, and fluffy beignets, and when paired with the mousse, it was delightful. I'm a fan of deviled eggs and salmon, but unfortunately the smoked salmon deviled eggs appetizer didn't quite hit the mark for me - it was too fishy. However, the French fries with aioli were delicious, and although the peanut sauce was interesting, I'm not sure it completely worked. The veggie risotto was satisfying, but the real standout was the dessert, which is why I'm giving this restaurant a 5/5 rating. Our server was also extremely sweet.
