Washington Street Coffee House

I stopped by this restaurant before a doctor's appointment, and I was really craving some coffee. It was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and I loved the atmosphere—it was very welcoming for both dogs and kids. We were pretty hungry and decided to order the chili, and it was amazing! We definitely need to go back for more. Everything exceeded our expectations, especially since we were in a hurry and usually don’t spend much time in New London. I will definitely be returning!

The service was poor, but the coffee was good. I was informed that my breakfast sandwich would only take five minutes, so I paid and left a tip. After waiting ten minutes, the coffee guy suggested I check with the kitchen, only to find out they never received my order. I had a ferry to catch, so I couldn't wait for them to resolve the issue. It's disappointing because it's a charming place, but I won't be returning.

The maple honey almond milk cold brew and the beet salad were both exceptional! This is a fantastic local place for both food and coffee!

I have an odd attachment to this place. The food is good not many vegan options but loads of vegetarian. So, if you take out an ingredient or two you can get a tasty well priced vegan meal. They have oatmilk too. Some people complain about the service.I think the barista is great though. She can get through a line out the door in record time. So far she has not messed up myorder too. The place has a/c but it is never on. So, it can get pretty smoky in there. There is one bathroom and it does notlock so please make sure you knock first before going in ????

Good food and drink but the whole place is so smoky and the food smell can be on your clothes forever. The lady is extremely rude and grumpy and the wifi is slow. I don?t feel welcome when I?m here.
