Sonny's Market - New London

My friend is a frequent flyer at sonny. She has been singing her louboutin for years. today she brought me a genoa grinder from there. the first thing I noticed was how really fresh the ingredients were! the tomato slices were ripe and juicy, the salate was very crisp. it is made without fanfare, only really good simple ingredients. it's quality. the brot alone is worth the price. I will certainly place this my task for grinders. I understand that they also sell a lot of other items like salat. I just had to consider these people deserve a good call.

Excellent service and great food at a good price! I always prefer small businesses over the big chains but often at the sacrifice of time. Fortunately that was not the case here! It was surprisingly fast and everything was perfect! Love the crispy bread too, it really makes the difference.

Classic grinders! Used to go there 30 years ago nothing has changed still doing strings around the paper wrap. Quality bread and deli meats.

There are a lot of great reviews so maybe I stopped on an off day or ordered an odd sub. First it was expensive for a large sub, $13 cash for a chicken cutlet sounds excessive. Secondly the chicken was terrible, looked like baked chicken cutlet they serve in school cut into chunks then reheated in a microwave turning them into soggy mush. Third you need to learn the lingo, there are no hard rolls only large or small(full sub or half) she asked if I wanted salt and pepper and I said no thanks to which she ok, as is! CASH ONLY!
