Bidrage med feedbackI had lunch here today, and I might just become a regular. Everything served was hot and fresh. This place is quite busy, and for good reason—everything is delicious and well-portioned. I ordered a two-combo meal with rice, grilled BBQ, and lumpia. I needed to take my food to go as I was in a bit of a hurry, but there are also some seats available inside if you prefer to dine in. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially since it’s one of the few places around that serves Filipino food. It's perfect for a nice lunch and for anyone looking to try something new and different!
The Filipino food was absolutely the best, bringing back cherished childhood memories. The halo-halo was simply divine! My daughter tried it for the first time and was left speechless after her first bite. She said she might never return to American desserts again and could happily live off Filipino cuisine for the rest of her life. The lumpia was amazing, and my partner really enjoyed his meal too. He had never tried dinuguan before, and he loved it, along with the pancit! The prices were also very reasonable—we went with three different combos, two halo-halos, and 15 pieces of lumpia for our family of three, all for under $40! You can’t beat that! We will definitely be coming back!
This was my first time trying Filipino cuisine, as there are very few restaurants in Connecticut. I must say, the meal exceeded my expectations. The famous dessert, Halo-Halo, was absolutely amazing. This is a fantastic spot for anyone seeking high-quality Filipino food.
Expensive, small portions, kinda bland and they like to give you small pieces of pork fat for $8. Also, the smallish 4 lumpia at $1 each is a total rip off. I stopped coming here after they decided to cut the lechon size in half and charged the same amount. (At this time, they were charging per 6 pieces not by container) I don't recommend buying the single portion items because of the price, but getting the combos is a better deal in price point. They get an extra star for being only Filipino place in the area, but if you have been to San Diego, this place is definitely isn't Tita's, and to be honest, any other Filipino restaurant I've been to.
Delicious authentic Filipino food. the menu changes daily, but the stack dishes remain. lechon kawali is the best.
