Gandha's Indian Restaurant

I just had take away when I was up in Newcastle for the night but it was amazing. The B&B where I stayed go there all the time and recommended it and I am so glad they did! Nice relaxed place to eat in too.

There are only few good Indian restaurant in Newcastle, that serves good quality food with right ingredients. Gandha's is definitely one of them. We have ordered food delivery multiple times and never had any issues.Traditional tandoori and nan is my favorite to order. Costs are on higher side for hime delivery and so are the delivery rate. However, it's all worth it due to high quality and tasty food.

Visited Gandha's Indian restaurant for a family dinner. Service prompt and friendly, food was fantastic. The chicken tikka with the charcoal flavour was wonderful as was the aloo gobi. In comparison to other Indian restaurants and cafe's in Newcastle, Gandha's food is flavoursome, fresh and not wallowing in a Bain Marie for hours on end. Yum!

It was a birthday dinner treat for my husband and we were pleasantly surprised by the tasty food. The entrée dishes of samosa, pakora & chicken tikka were good, & it could have been our main dish & we would have been satisfied. Our favorite for the main was the mugali beef, which was tender beef in a saffron flavored sauce. Beef was tender & sauce was so good. As we had 3 meat dishes for our main, the owner suggested we ordered the vegetarian biryani rice instead of another meat base biryani rice. We tried their naan too.

It's hard to find good indian in Australia, but Gabdhas is up there with the best, the best un Newy by a long shot.
