Brenda's Dine in & Take Out

Loves this old school. in her house is located mrs. brenda, which serves them some great meals at home. I had some of the best fried chickens at all and enjoyed the red beans and rice. the mac n cheese was a-1! the cobbler was also very good. I can't wait to eat here again! definitiw a hidden gem in new iberia and probably the best to eat that they find locally.

Another great hit in new iberia, la. woman brenda makes her magic at this place for 30 years. the lunch menu changes daily, I had the truthahnhals stuffing (amazing,) Turkey wing (super succulent,) sweet potato and white beans with sausage (really good stuff) and rice naturally. God bless them and when they in the arlington, tx area try their sohn place damian cajun soul cafe too. real soul to cook home.

Love this place! it is a small hole in the wall, but eating reminded me of cooking my oma and mother. woman brenda is so sweet. actor tommy lee jones and his filmcrew ate there in 2007. please consider them a good ole homemade meal!

Extremely good little place to get a lunch. the fried fish was really light and tasteful. highly recommended.

Wish I could give them more stars, thought twice about it before we parked, looks like an old house, but we herd about this place all the way from Houston. I'm so glad we decided to give it a try. My wife has made the best meatloaf I've ever had until today. By far the best I've ever had, everything was top notch. This is true down home southern cooking and service at its finest. Came in again and WOW, best etufea period. There is no way to explain the taste of the rolls, had to get seconds on green beans and the fish is light and fluffy. Good thing I live 4 hrs from here. This place is addictive
