Panera Bread - New Hyde Park

This Panera is home to some of the kindest, hardest working employees. Walked in at 9:24 and Kayla at the register along with the rest of the team Jocelyn, Eunice, Steve, and manager Victoria were still happy to serve us. Thank you so much for staying true to closing time.

My first visit to this location was a pleasant experience. I ordered my usual chipotle chicken avocado melt with chicken noodle soup and also tried their Passion Papaya Iced Green Tea, which I surprisingly enjoyed despite not usually liking green tea and papayas. My mother ordered the cream of broccoli soup and I loved it so much that I ended up buying it from a supermarket near my home, though it somehow tasted better at the restaurant. The cashier was informative, but one of the cooks seemed to have an attitude when I asked for my food and had to correct her. The ambiance was low-key and easy to navigate, making it a great place to relax and eat, which is what Panera Bread is known for.

I ordered the steak sandwich with onions cheese and horseradish sauce. The sandwich had four paper thin slices of steak a few onions and cheese. Not worth the cost. Two sandwiches and one beef, rice and broccoli bowl, cost $49.27.Will not be back. This panera was in North New Hyde Park.

I feel really bad not knowing all their names because they are all amazing. However the ones I typically deal with are David, Amina, Michelle and Abby. They are the sweetest people I have ever met in customer service. Honestly the fact that I am taking my time to write this review tells you how kind they are. That area has a lot of crazy people and the staff there put up with a lot of nonsense. But God bless them. I love coming in to say hi to them and having a short friendly talk while I grab a coffee. So thank you all for making my day and I hope that I continue seeing your smiles for years to come.

Usually this location is okay but whoever is/was working at 11 am on 1/28 clearly has selective reading capabilities. I ordered a tuna salad sandwich and paid extra for bacon and extra for cheese and my sandwich arrived WITHOUT THE TUNA!!!! How?? I didn't order a BLT. Smh. Ruined my lunch.
