Da Legna At Nolo - New Haven

Very unique types of pizzas in New Haven style. Pretty darn good.

Went here for the first time a couple days ago and it was great! The pizza was delicious, thin crust and loaded with toppings. We enjoyed some great cocktails as well, especially the espresso martinis! Our waiter was very attentive and the service was fast. The indoor seat space was very large but we enjoyed sitting outside in front because the weather was so nice. We will be going back for sure!

Nice pie with an identity crisis. It wants to be a Neapolitan with the New Haven flare, but doesn’t do either well not chewy or airy enough for a Nea, not crispy or substantial enough for a NH. That said, it’s a light, tasty pizza that you can def enjoy with a beer. Good ingredients and toppings. Staff was great! Cool shirts!

The only reason I'm giving this place a 2 star is because the first bite I took out of my pepperoni pizza had a hidden mushroom. I CAN NOT eat mushrooms, for the past 15 min I have been throwing up and have now lost my appetite. Also $50 for 2 very simple pies, they really should be on point. Normally they are great and is why I drive from branford to get it. But not this time.

Great New Haven style pizza!! Can't go wrong with any of their pies or salads. Inside dining is a fun vibe but can get loud and the outdoor patio is nice.
