Raspberry Linzer Tart with delicious almonds is the best tart in town, ever! As it’s handmade, everyday’s tart can taste a little different but I’m glad these ladies found a way to bake it to the fullest all the time. Sounds a bit pricey, but worth to try a slicey! I’m waiting for next month until I can afford another FULL PIE! And yes, calorie-wise too.

This lunch spot is hands down our favorite to visit in New Haven! It's located right on State Street, and inside is super cozy and quaint. Their staff are so helpful and welcoming. Ask them about any of the dishes, and you'll get an enthusiastic description and a beautiful plate. Everything here is made from scratch including their warm loaves of bread, delicious chicken pot pie, interesting quiches, homemade soups, salads, and gorgeous desserts. Love, love love and will be back for sure next time we travel to the Shoreline!

Set up like a tea room, the food is excellent, service is great too. Owners are on premises, and it makes a difference! I love coming here with friends for their soup and sandwuch comb; everything is tasty and fresh and reasonably priced.
