Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Love this place! Awesome customer service! Had so much fun shopping in the store. There is something here for everyone. I'm thinking about going back to do my Christmas shopping. The prices are really reasonable. The menu offers country cooking itemslike biscuits and gravy, fresh vegetable soup, corn muffins, chicken and dumplings and turkey and stuffing as well as grilledcheese sandwiches and fries. I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a good breakfast/lunch/dinner.

I enjoyed Cracker Barrel. The service was awesome and I found some great gifts and Christmas decorations too.

The food was average at best. However, the service was excellent. The portion sizes were inconsistent. The potato casserole was quite disappointing—undercooked and lacking in flavor. The half slice of bacon I received was also unsatisfying. While the ham slice had a nice crispiness around the edges, it was still a bit cold in the center. It seems I may have visited on an off day because this experience didn't match the Cracker Barrel I remember.

I find it difficult to write this review. We ordered a curbside pickup for the Thanksgiving feast and ended up waiting in the parking lot for almost an hour. The manager was very apologetic and even offered us a complimentary future meal, which we truly appreciated. The food itself was fantastic and served hot. So, you might wonder why I gave a lower rating. Unfortunately, when I called after waiting for half an hour, the woman who answered the phone was somewhat rude. She suggested that I come inside to see how busy they were, even though I was sitting in a mostly empty parking lot. I didn’t really know how to respond to that. After another 30 minutes, we finally received our food. Since we were 45 minutes away from home, we decided to check the order, only to find that the butter, pies, and cranberry sauce were packaged with the hot food, but the potatoes were missing. I went back into the restaurant, and although they quickly brought out a tray of hot potatoes, I had to ask for a bag to carry them, so I wouldn't burn my hands. There was no apology this time. Despite these issues, the quality and quantity of the food were quite good for the price, so we plan to give this place another try.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, with delicious food and attentive service. The teamwork among the staff ensured that our meals were served promptly and without delay. I left a $15 tip for our waitress, and she generously offered to pass along a $5 tip I had intended for the young lady who brought our food. Unfortunately, our waitress informed me that the busgirl had already left for the night. However, she assured me that she would give her the tip the following day. It was refreshing to see such mutual support and honesty among the staff—it's the kind of teamwork that truly makes a difference! I was so happy to share a little something for the server, too. It was such a heartwarming experience!
