The Larder - New Forest

The tapas at this restaurant were incredible. We were particularly impressed with the enthusiastic and attentive host, Karl. We only planned to have a few tapas dishes and a drink as a starter before heading to another restaurant for our main meal, and this was the perfect choice, especially paired with a cold craft beer. The tapas menu was extensive, and Karl's recommendations were spot on, introducing us to some dishes we may not have chosen ourselves. The Karlos meat stew was a standout. The atmosphere was nice, and there was an interesting deli inside where we could purchase Spanish ingredients. It's worth noting that tapas is only available on certain days and in the evening. I stopped by for a late lunch and stumbled upon this hidden gem down a small alleyway. The restaurant is filled with delicious local dishes, open-faced sandwiches, salads, and an array of homemade cakes and scones. It's a wonderful spot to visit for breakfast, lunch, or just a cup of coffee. The locals rave about their scotch eggs, although I didn't try one myself.

Had brunch during the visit of lymington. avocado on sourdough with an egg. my wife had the same, but with crispy speck. the food was beautiful. would be highly recommended. turn left when it is hidden the high st.

Tasty lunch eat fresh salads and tasty goat cheese salad on sour teig and vegetarian plate to share delicious coffee from trained baristas. owner karl very friendly and is proaktiw in providing great service and good food. would recommend, beautiful heated sitting area. new management since the 19th century. busy for a day full of locals. it's just on the road that it's worth finding. we will be back and our “going to” will be for midday and light. delicious chocolate brownie

Hidden over the larder when they're looking for a coffee in the middle of tomorrow's gray. the coffee was delicious and the hospitality was enormous nothing was too much annoyed. highly recommended!
