Jamavar - New Delhi

Excellent Everything!! As usual... this place never disappoints. Tomato Dhaniya Shorba is always my favorite here but another item added is pindi chand n kulcha.... really delicious!Keep it up guysP.S- please work a bit on service timings.

We had an early dinner in Jamavar, The Leela Palace New Delhi. We were six ladies for dinner. I had roasted poppadum, and a simple order of vegetable coconut stew with green pea. If you're a coconut lover, this dish is for you. The stew was well prepared and aromatic. Our dessert was the Gulab Jamun. You must try Paan (leaf chewing) on the way out for mouth refreshment and healthy digestion either you love it or not.

Visited the place for a formal dinner... Firstly the food was just awesome ! The paneer, the daal and other dishes were just too tasty. While the price is on the higher side, sure this a very great fine dining place for those looking for authentic Indian food. While I a vegetarian, my colleagues who tasted the Non-vegetarian food were impressed as well. Good service as there were couple of waiters ready to help us.

Excellent chef.......Lovely decor and real tasty food

The service was very attentive. We ordered to start the spinach and cheese patties and the tandoori broccoli. We were very impressed. We shared mains. I am going to be controversial and say the butter chicken here is overrated. The food was generally very tasty though.
