Big Bongg Theory - New Delhi

Bongg food at its best. The test of a good cook is in the simplest dishes (if we have learnt anything from Ratatouille that is : the simple dal bhat begun bhaja/aloo posto was completely deliciously comforting. The more adventurous thankuni patar bora was a delight to discover. The duck egg curry was exquisite, so good in fact that for once even the kosha mangsho paled in comparison. The fish fry is also very good the crumb coating just right. To end it all with nolen gurer payesh and some really good tea was just the perfect conclusion to a very good meal. Happily recommending it highly.

Don't miss the tea and the boras, whatever you do. There's nothing like them in Delhi. The vegetarian platter was also lovely, and beautifully presented.

If you are looking for flavorsome food without any pretense big bong theory is just the place you are looking for.

Bang in here for authentic and delicious Bengali foods. The price is on the higher side, but it worths it. Parking is a big problem in this area, so plan accordingly. Also the restaurant has only three tables and 8-10 chairs, and no washroom. Plan accordingly :P
