Karnataka - New Delhi

I felt as if the menu had fewer vegan options than hotel saravana bhavan, but karnataka was cheaper in the price. the sambar was spicier here than any other place I tried. if they are in the opposite, karnataka is a beautiful option, but it is nothing to go away from her.

Most South Indian restaurants in North India have more or less the same menu and more or less the same taste and the texture. not so, karnataka. here you will also find the usual suspicious but also a selection of unusual and creative variations. I had the special mysore palak masala dosa, which was excellently delicious, and each half of it had different filling (one side with green,) which for more interesting eating. I have not chosen the North Indian tariff, but it is for those who prefer it. fresh juice is a plus, prices are reasonable, and service was friendly and attentive. the location is convenient, about 30 steps from the green park underground station. all this makes karnataka a great option if they could look at in or near the green park area (although they could also look tattva in hauz khas if they are for a village splash as it is organic and super vegan-friendly.)

This place is a serious hidden gem. I've been here for more than 15 years and honestly I haven't found any better South Indian food anywhere else and it's not for the lack of trying that I say I cost almost all famous South Indian restaurants including the famous multi-restaurant chains, but they don't come close to the food here. this place is about 18 km from my house, but every time I want to eat good South Indian food, I drive to karnataka restaurant. they can find the ambiente and sit a bit old school, but this is good, given the taste infact that it adds to all the experience and offers a bit of an old eating charm.
