Limu Coffee - New Brighton

Impressed with the wide selection of drinks and treats! Got a frosted mocha and hot chai this time; both are perfectly sweet (not overly sweet). Will definitely be back!

Stopped by on a long bike ride for a pick-me-up. Ordered double shot espresso and baklava. The espresso was very good and so was the pastry (though very rich ? consider sharing). The barista was super friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy.Everything was very reasonably priced. Will definitely make this a regular stop on our rides.

Chai latte was very sweet, but a little bit of bland. the dark mocha coffee was tasteful with rich intense chocolate taste. the baklava heated was wonderful. the atmosphere was calm, comfortable. a back area was perfect for us to sit and enjoy the humor of the conversation in the main area, while we were watching through the shafty chat and calibre outside.

It was my first time trying Limu. I ordered an iced dark chocolate mocha which was way too sweet (and I like sweet drinks) and tasted like Hershey’s syrup... I had to add a bunch of milk when I got home to offset the sweetness. The chocolate croissant was really good, though!

Limu coffee is a neat, comfy coffee shop owned by people from Ethiopia. The coffee being from Ethiopia is delicious. Stopping by for a cup taking home a bag of whole beans is definitely worth it.
