Rodriguez Y Cantina - New Braunfels

My sister and my nephew went to eat in this Mexican restaurant called rodriguez in new brownfels. they overloaded my sisters for the price of eating. the price of eating did not correspond to what the menu had said. so the waitress will not agree with what my sister said to her. the food is sucked! She said the elote is not good. the waitress didn't want to balance what she had paid. they don't waste their money eating in this restaurant. that's not worth it.

The chips and salsa are really good. the chips are crunchy and fresh, and the salsa has a nice after bite that builds with each dip. I had the chimichanga with fajita meat. It's a large portion. The meat inside is tender, with little to no flavor. Another person in my group had the cheese enchiladas, little to no cheese on the inside with very little flavor as well. The refried beans are tasty. The service was great. They were very courteous and fast. I do not believe we will go back. Warning: there's an extra charge to use debit cards.

Man guys I hate to do this but do not eat here. The food was not good. The picture I took is what I left of my food, literally took 2 bites out of my enchiladas and carne asada. Went with a table of 10 and no one but the person who ordered a bean burrito ate most their food. Wasted $88, do yourself a favor and keep looking for another restaurant. Also, they charge you $3 to use card not sure what that's about.

Just wanted to throw this out there so if you get the 2 combo special enchiladas plates they do charge you 50cent per enchiladas of beef or chicken . Example will be listed below . I didn’t see anything online says additional charge if want meat or mix or chicken unless if you want chicken fajitas or beef fajitas. Another thing to when paying by card it’s another additional non cash fee. Oh flour tortillas I didn’t get due to gurl says doesn’t come with it but then I called and that was a mistake any who . I won’t be back . Sorry . I feel like i was eating at taco cabana , that how the food resembles as . Happened to notice the meat is raw !! They were professional and fix my situation but i think it just not my type and style of food

Simply not good. Ordered from DoorDash… food arrived warm. Everything is bland, absolutely tasteless. My mother-in-law’s enchiladas came covered in lettuce and tomatoes, husbands’ puffy tacos had zero flavor. We will not try it again. Over-priced, small portions, Taco Bell is better.
