Papa John's Pizza - New Bern

Pizza tasted good. Had a meatball pizza and two slices had no meatballs. The other pizza was 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 bacon and I got 5 slices of pepperoni and 3 bacon.

Easy access and no waiting in line to order. Delivered to car.

Horrible place now!! Ordered cheesesticks tonight and there was no cheese on half of them so they remade it but this time they were very dry and half burnt and light on cheese and the first one they made was actually much better on the other half where there actually was cheese. Like how is it possible to make it half right with the cheese the first time but mess up with the cheese on the whole thing the second time? They're supposed to be wet and gooey and cheesy but instead they are doughy, half burnt, and half flavorless. This is not the first time this has happened. It's every time. Waste of money. Also whenever I order pizza with extra cheese it is never extra, it is normal and I always have to send it back for remake. The store in havelock cooks way better than here. But I have no choice cuz this is the only store in New bern where I live. If this continues then sadly I won't be coming here anymore and that's a shame because I love papa johns but this location is unacceptable.

Great delivery service, but think they brought a competitors pizza instead of a true Papa Johns. It tasted old, like the sauce had been sitting on the counter, opened, all week. The crust was worse than cardboard. Maybe the company is trying to save money by going to cheap ingredients, in any event, it makes this a firm pass.

I love pizza and commercially Papa John's is my go-to in the area. I've rarely been disappointed in the taste and appearance of my order. But I've begun to pick up on something, eighty percent or more of the time I receive dipping sauces where the seal has been tampered with. Even today with my order everything looks delicious but when I shake the garlic dipping sauce it flies everywhere because both pull tabs were lifted and seal broken.
