Bidrage med feedbackThe space is old and charming. The menu is varied and full of interesting choices. The wine list is extensive. We waited a little longer than preferred for our food. When it arrived it was well prepared, presented and full of flavor. Our waitress was gracious and a bit less attentive than would have been helpful. All in all, it was a pleasant dining experience.
We went for the tapas. While there was live music upstairs we sat at a quiet table downstairs. It was perfect for us as I don't think we would have been able to have a conversation upstairs the music was not overly loud but would have been distracting. Anyway, the service was stellar. Coral our server had tables upstairs and down, and did not forget about us at any point; answered questions with ease and a smile. Food was the goal so we sampled several dishes. The spring rolls stood out. Truffle fries were just right. Both house and Caesar salads were huge. Caprese sliders were very good, bacon a welcome addition complimenting perfectly cooked chicken. Blackened cod tacos were delicious, if lacking slightly in the amount of cod. They offer a decent wine list. The bar had run out of mint so no mojito on this night. Also there was no port available for after dinner. Sadly, no room for dessert! I think there were five dishes on offer and we would have gladly tried them all based on Coral's descriptions (no menu or cart). Parking is a little tricky in this area. Street metered spots are available. There are also a couple of parking garages within 5 10 minutes walk. Cobblestone streets always add character but consider your footwear. I think there was a dessert menu available online.
In New Bedford, you must try Cork Wine and Tapas. The menu features shareable plates, salads, entrees. Something for everyone, and creative dishes. We enjoyed the blackened cod tacos, beef sliders, calamari, and a chaceuterie board. And wine flights from domestic or international vineyards. Our server Diamond was 5-star. There is live music certain nights-check their calendar. Churros for dessert are a must-who knew they paired well with a tempranillo for dessert?!
We celebrated my niece's 21st birthday and my nephew's college graduation. We were a a party of 8. Drinks were great, food was yummy, entertainment was enjoyable (but a little loud for my taste) our server was fantastic! Thank you for a job well done.
Fun location, very good overall, great staff, live entertainment appreciated. My main complaint was it was a bit pricey relative to the food quality, at least for one dish (fish tacos) of three main ordered. Two other main dishes were very good.
