La Verniaz Grand Restaurant

Beautiful yard. Unfortunately, the service at the evening of our visit was not on the way. very long wait because our order was forgotten. the brot had to be ordered extra and then came without butter, which had to be ordered extra. Dishes...were bland. it was missing the funke. pity, the basic would be really good. the waiters tried hard, but somehow they were not very organized. all in all, an evening they would have done without.

We returned after 10 years and the restaurant is great as it was before. we had a table in the courtyard in the shade. the service was polite and fast. the selection of foods was very good.

We live in walking distance from Verniaz, but for years not since it had some problems. today visited for lunch, very nice day so in the location to dine in the beautiful courtyard. all courses delicious and service was excellent. wants to visit again soon

On the positive side, 120 ladies from our community came together here for lunch. The service was super considering how difficult it is to serve almost everyone at once. Food excellent too, and the chef was applauded by us all. On the first occasion, the...fish was not cooked in the middle. It had to be sent back [embarrassing]. We expected that at an establishment of this quality, a replacement dish would be provided, but no, they put it through the microwave and the same fish was returned half eaten and looking rather sorry for itself!
