The Oaks Hotel - Neutral Bay

A great venue, with lots of bookable rooms, for smaller parties - complete with pool tables or table tennis - and a variety of internal and external spaces to eat.

We had a group of 12 on a Wednesday night and all meals were presented well and no complaints on serving size or taste. Nice pub atmosphere with a friendly feel to it.

Having moved office into the area I made sure to have lunch here. The bruschetta is my kind of garlic spiced! The legendary oak tree at night is magical. The summer drinks range was fantastic.

It was quite pleasant sitting under the fairy light-lit oak tree. We ordered burgers and beers. We enjoyed the beers, atmosphere and setting more than the burgers, which we thought were average. Kudos to the guys who clear and clean the tables. That's a large and crowded area and yet they were friendly and efficient. We'd probably return just for drinks.

You can cook your own steak if you wish... Make sure you sit outside under the big oak that is lit up a night. the food is fantastic the only drawback is that you have to get up to order and collect the food but this is just a small iritant.
