I almost reached the other side of the old city center with the stargarder tor when I discovered the “primary cellar”. Surprisingly, it was completely empty. I ordered “Matjesfilet nordic Style” with fried potatoes. during the waiting period the server offered me to read the local time. the meal was pretty good. the pieces of matjesfilet were quite large and tasty. the panfrittel potatoes were well seasoned. the accompanying salate was fresh. the price was slightly higher than the average. anyway, it's not a mistake to eat there.
On the way to a wedding I walked on the Stargarder Straße from the train station through the old city center of Neubrandenburg. I almost reached the other side...of the old city center with the Stargarder Tor when I discovered the “Fürstenkeller”. Surprisingly, it was completely empty. I ordered “Matjesfilet Nordic Style” with pan-fried potatoes. While waiting the server offered me the local newspaper to read. The meal was pretty good. The pieces of Matjesfilet were quite large and tasty. The pan-fried potatoes were well seasoned. The accompanying salad was fresh. The price was a bit higher than the average. Nevertheless, it is not a mistake to eat there.

Nevertheless, it is not a mistake to eat there.
We were with the family to brunch there so we arrived with breakfast hungry (brunch) and lunchtime appetit (lunch). Unfortunately there was nothing to eat breakfast except a few slices of bread, fruit and coffee. the warm lunches were unfortunately no longer really warm rather lukewarm and the meat tasty. the sweet was ok but from the bag was not special (a spatula should be fresh at the time of the spatula) and the supplements little spectacular (croquettes, salt potatoes, rice). the service was friendly and accommodating two points. we wouldn't go to the brunch there anymore.
The restaurant does not hold what the cellar vault actually promises. brunch meticulous, popular dishes as experienced, out and silvester menu 2016 little appealing. the way to the toilet leads you to the kitchen/to the terasse/or to the top...full fall knit. you want more with the restaurant than what really goes. there does not also use the demonstrative kumpelei from the chef on the silvester evening. you can eat in the forest cellar. no more.
