I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is great and truly authentic Jamaican cuisine. The owner is a dedicated and generous chef who does an outstanding job running the restaurant and preparing delicious dishes.
This restaurant is truly a one-man operation. The owner is a friendly and approachable individual who is not only easy to chat with but also an excellent cook. I ordered the oxtail stew, and I must say, it had some of the best gravy I've ever tasted—I really enjoyed it. The dish is authentically made with beef tail. My son had the ribs, and he said they were fantastic. We're definitely planning to return. I found the prices to be quite reasonable. The atmosphere perfectly fits the Caribbean restaurant vibe. We will definitely be back, and I encourage everyone to try this place and support a local small business.
James is an amazing chef and human! His food is made with heart and soul. He would kill it in any city yet he is here bringing authentic Jamaican food and personality to our area! He treated us as family in his home. We had a double of the Jerk Pit Sampler, Jamaican Brown Stew Chicken, and the Curry Chicken. His homemade hot sauce is ridiculously good. James, thanks for a fantastic dinner. We’ll see you soon!
I have had the oxtails and curry chicken so far and both were delicious. The portions were great and the prices were reasonable. I'm looking forward to tasting the rest of the menu.
