El Puenta - Nerja

Always visit here when in Nerja the Tapas choice is excellent and so is the Menu del Dia. We love to sit outside in the sun on the patio.

Called in here several times. But a bit off beaten track Choice of tapas excellent. Plus not over priced Generally need to order at the bar A tapa for each vino or cervaza.

OK the place was full, visit this place probably 3 times a year on average when we go to Spain. Had visited it twice already before the point of this review. Lunch time visit (heaving)! Got a table though outside on the smaller patio area. The food here is excellent and we love the place whenever we go, beer is always cold in frosted cold glasses. Sat down and waited, waited and waited. Waiter eventually acknowledged us and asked if we wanted a menu, said we did and waited. Another waiter came but we said we had already asked for a menu. Waited a fair amount of time and then he put the menus on our table, I immediately asked for drinks as we were very hot and had waited a long time already. The waiter rushed off and said in a minute busy! So we waited and waited. Wife eventually went inside and said we needed serving as we had waited a long time and needed a drink. Waited and waited some more. We waited for one hour before we got up and left disgusted as not even a drinks order had been asked of us. As we were walking off the waiter came out as we looked back. We were in need of a cool drink and had to walk all the way to Punta Lara so really needed one when we got home. Not a good experience at a place we really like. Back again in April and have reservations! So very disappointed, third visit that week too with no problems previously, come on guys step up to the mark and your normal standard. I have given four stars as you are normally excellent.

This place at lunch time was heaving. The Brits really love this place... we got an outside table.. Go straight to the bar and pick from at least 20 plus tapas... I had a bowl of potato and meat stew and a small beer for 2 euros... Plenty of fish dishes variety of meat dishes... Table was cleared with no issues. Staff very friendly. Also great location, by the bridge.... as in the name of this bar... Really must give it a go...

Great place to eat,good food ,good service and good value for money.Have been here many times never had a bad meal sevice from Fernando and the rest of the staff is first class.
