Bidrage med feedbackWe were a little put off to be ambushed at the top of the hill to be told that the only way back up the hill without walking was to eat in this restaurant (the paid for shuttle bus stops at the end of September) Nonetheless, encouraged by good reviews, we tried this place out, and were very pleased we did The portions are enormous and very tasty. We had a mixed salad, sardines and the mixed seafood grill. I have never seen deep-fried elvers before, and they were superb Unusually friendly service, and we were offered a trip back up in the minibus: We demurred as we needed to walk the lunch off! It is a fantastic beach, but you need to be reasonably fit to walk both ways. It is lucky that the “cost” of the drive is a happily full stomach
Beautiful and busy place. I called for a reservation at the opening hour and they said it was fully reserved. At 13:00 we went at the door and they received us and gave us a table that was reserved for 15:00. The food is good.
Playa de Canuelos is one of the loveliest unspoilt beaches on the Costa del Sol, accessible only by regular minibus shuttle down a 1 km track during the summer, or a 1 hour walk over the headland from Cantarrijan, and the chiringuito here is very much in keeping with the surroundings lots of tables under the bamboo and ivy roof, lots of attractive stonework, and a decent menu. We weren’t that hungry (far too hot) so just shared pan con ajo, gazpacho and gambas al pil pil with a couple of beers all pretty good. What we haven’t worked out is whether Las Piedras is open year round or only in the season when the shuttle bus is running v much hope it’s year round as Playa de Canuelos is such a little gem.
Cozy chiringhito located on the El Cañuelo beach. Menu is traditional chiringito-style and the food is good. Great for lunch, but remember to book a table. Does not accept creditcards.
Great location on the beach seemed to be full of locals keeping this a secret. the bus service is peanuts, the beach is pristine and water crystal clear. Advice is to book a table, people seem to linger to avoid the midday sun. Food is good, fresh fish , tasty platas etc. what you are enjoying is the stunning location. Only a few tourists make it out of Nerja, which is a shame as this is one of the best beaches and Chiringuitio i have found ! Enjoy... Service was polite and prompt, and when we came back friendly. they get very busy so sit back and relax,
