Simko's Grill - Neptune City

I usually prefer lobster rolls with drawn butter instead of mayo, but decided to give it a try at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious. The kids really enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries. We also tried the King Crab Leg special on another visit and they were large and tasty. The staff is fantastic and we always have a great dining experience here.

Overall, our family had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The service was friendly and fast. We all enjoyed the menu items, giving them an A+ rating. The salads were very fresh, the warm bread was delicious, the pecan-crusted salmon impressed us, the ribeye was very tender, and the homemade mashed potatoes were perfect. However, we were disappointed with the frozen french fries, which did not match the quality of the rest of the meal. We suggest switching to fresh-cut fries. The cocktail sauce was too jelly-like, indicating it was made too far in advance. Personally, I did not care for the crab cakes as they were not Maryland-style, but I should have inquired more before ordering. Despite these minor issues, we would still definitely return to this restaurant. Our waitress, Danielle, was superb!

My first visit was in May and the food was really, really good. I had the lightly fried scallop sandwich special and it was so good. The mozzarella sticks and sauce are great. Next visit we had some drinks at the bar and the bartenders were great and very attentive. The staff is extremely friendly, prices are competitive and the food and drinks are excellent! Can't wait to go back. They bar is lined with TV's and we requested a certain game on TV, and they immediately accommodated us. Most places won't change the channel. If you want great food, friendly service at a reasonable price down the Jersey Shore, I suggest you stop at Simko's.

First time eating here and everything was AMAZING. Diverse menu, great service shoutout to Caitlin! clean, nice restaurant. This is going to be my new regular spot.

A wonderful experience as always. the staff is pleasant and helpful. I like personal people and tonight we had Barbara. Very pleasant and attentive. We say on the back deck and it was a beautiful night. Every employee that passed us was friendly and acknowledged us. We always get the shrimp cocktail which is served over ice a lemon squeeze and thick and delicious foxtail sauce. For our entrees I had the chicken Francaise with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables medley. My fiancé had the Seafood special with fried Shrimp and Founder with rice pilaf with grilled vegetables medley. each came with a soup or salad choice. i has a delicious signature cocktail called the Flirtini which was a tasty Raspberry vodka, tripsec and pinnacle juice with cranberry juice garnished with a lim. it was sooooo good!!! This is my 4th establishment I've visited by the owner. his selection of employees is exceptional! He has at least 40 years of experience in the industry and he knows what the customers want! I feel honored to be a client of his in the Old Simko's in Sayreville, Brielle and Belmar. I have NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED. With a great menu and an array of daily specials with a social menu , there's something for everyone to LOVE. If you didn't love the food here, I am afraid you just can't be satisfied!! Great job once again Mike Simko! You far exceeded my expectations Again and again!!
