Dragon Garden - Neptune City

I began working in Neptune about five months ago, and I've been on the hunt for a good Chinese takeout restaurant since there isn’t one close to my home. I've ordered from Dragon Garden about six or seven times now, and each experience has been excellent. We particularly enjoy their garlic sauce. The chicken is consistently tender—not rubbery or slimy like we've encountered at other places. The food is always prepared quickly and remains hot by the time I get home. The customer service is also commendable. I highly recommend it!

The food was terrible. I ordered the house fried rice, shrimp and broccoli, and chicken broccoli with garlic sauce. The broccoli was overcooked to the point of being mushy. They also used low-quality garlic and added way too much of it. The rice was flavorless—bland, and even the plain white rice didn't taste good; I don't understand how that can happen. It took over an hour and 15 minutes for my food to arrive. I don't mind waiting on a weekend, but it simply wasn't worth the wait or the $30 I spent.

The food here is absolutely delicious, and the prices are significantly better than at other places—it's much cheaper while still offering higher quality. The woman at the counter is incredibly kind, making the experience even better. This has become my favorite Chinese restaurant to order from. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long, but that's only because it's so popular. Whenever I go to pick up my order, it's always bustling with people, which is a great sign that the food is fantastic. I can’t get enough of it, and I find myself ordering 2 to 3 times a week. The variety of dishes keeps things interesting and allows for plenty of change.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is always fresh, and they prepare it incredibly quickly. If you enjoy fresh vegetables and seafood, you won’t be disappointed!
