East Side Mario's - Nepean

Kylie was amazing. It was busy but she was honest with us about being short staffed. We appreciated her letting us know. We were not in any rush. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. Kylie is a gem. We will definitely return to this location.

Went here on a Friday evening for dinner. Restaurant was about half empty. Sat down at our booth and it was about 20 mins before the server came to our table. Gave our food and drink orders... and then another 20 mins goes by... Server forgot about our drinks, and there was no sign of the food. The drinks arrived about 10 mins after that (30 mins since giving our order). We asked to speak to a manager, and told him that we were waiting a very long time for our food. He told us that this is how the restaurant industry is, and every restaurant would give me the same experience, which I found strange for a manager to say (in truth, this has not been my recent experience at most restaurants I had been to in the last few months). He did assure me that the food would be out shortly. Over an hour after giving our order, the food came out (and they forgot about half the order). Something is wrong here regarding the way they run the restaurant. Tables around us wished us luck in dealing with the restaurant experience as they left, after receiving subpar service themselves. I would NOT ever return to this place. Beware, if you crave ESM, try another location!!

I had a fantastic late lunch today, all thanks to Ashley M and the young man in the kitchen. Ashley was a fantastic waitress and very sweet. Despite being short-staffed, the food was delicious and came out hot.

We arrived around 230 on a Saturday- there were only 3 other tables being occupied. We received only 1 loaf of bread for 4 people, we had to get our own cutlery and we only saw the waitress 4 times. When we were finished we couldn’t find anyone to ask for our bill, so we had to stand at the bar and wait for the waitress to come out of the kitchen.Our food wasn’t good either unfortunately, we don’t live near an east sides and were very much looking forward to our salad and bread.

Food was pretty slow getting to the table but it was worth the wait. Their pizza sauce is delicious and my other half enjoys the all you can eat salad. We were offered lots of garlic bread and drink refills while waiting for our mains to arrive.
